Overall good, but there were some problems
8.0The apartment is spacious, the bedroom is very large and the bed is comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped. There is a balcony. There is parking (not private) outside the house.
− The contaction with the owners of the property is not convenient, they are not always available on WhatsApp, probably it is related to a certain difficulty in the English language. They also gave us the phone number of a tour guide to Mount Etna and he did not answer the message and the phone, in the end he said he was busy. Upon arrival it was not easy for us to find the address. We tried via waze and via google maps and both options showed us the same address half an hour drive away. We only discovered it halfway, it was frustrating. Eventually the owner came to pick us up with his car from a nearby gas station so we wouldn't get confused. This solved the problem but was embarrassing. We stayed there for two nights and for breakfast they left us groceries in the fridge to prepare ourselves. It wasn't written in advance so we were surprised. It was convenient to eat at a time that suited us, but we would have preferred to know it in advance. They charged us the entire payment in advance unlike other places, and we couldn't cancel. There was also occasional shouting from the upper floor which was unpleasant for us. Apart from the shouting inside the house, the outside environment was quiet and the insulation from the street was good.
