− Barking dog nearby till midnight and woken up by the light coming into room through curtains at 5am.
A lovely place to stay but don't use Booking.com!
9.0Carol was very friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to accommodate us when Booking.com changed the dates I'd asked for. This is a lovely, comfortable place to stay - a real home from home. Loved the pool, the hot tub and having a lounge to sit in as well as a comfortable and spacious room. Good breakfast too.
− Booking.com changed the dates of our booking without highlighting it - so book direct. The upstairs room has several steps inside, so care is needed moving around.

9.0Lovely hot breakfast, lovely hosts. Very warm and welcoming environment. You do have to travel to any village or town so plan well. Set in beautiful countryside, quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend

8.0Lovely hostess, fantastic view, excellent sitting room & good breakfast. Hot tub & pool available - though we weren't staying long enough to make use of this. All very clean & nicely furnished/decorated.
− Two stepped areas within the bedroom, which concerned me for bathroom visits in the night. & I don't consider a bathroom to be private if you have to leave the bedroom & walk along a mezzanine above the open plan entrance hall, which has uncurtained (barn conversion type) windows each side - even if the house itself is not overlooked. Thankfully we were the only guests staying
