Een mooie plek in Riposto.
8.0De zalige rust vlak aan de zee. Het grote terras waar we gebruik van mochten maken. De bedden waren ok. Als je het huis binnen komt krijg je een tentoonstelling van schilderijen te zien. Veel planten enz
− De bewoners zijn onzichtbaar. Communicatie verloopt uitsluitend via booking.com omdat de gastheer geen Engels praat. De tax die we nog moesten betalen werd aan ons gevraagd via een factuur en briefje op de ontbijttafel, terwijl we twee meter verder buiten zaten. Riposto heeft zijn hoogdagen gehad maar is weer in opbouw. In de periode dat we er waren kon je geen shuttle nemen naar het station dat toch wel ver van de accommodatie ligt. Taxi's en openbaar vervoer is er onbestaand. Onze gastheer kon ons geen taxi fixen om naar het station te brengen en de shuttle naar de vlieghaven zou ons 120-140 euro kosten. Dit was er echt over. Daarom hebben we onze laatste nacht een hotelkamer bijgeboekt in Catanie. Nog een tip aan de gastheer. Wees niet boos als er een taart niet wordt aangenomen vanwege een aardbeienallergie. De broodjes waren lekker dank je wel, maar de smeerkaasjes en de confituur... elke dag voor vijf dagen dezelfde is wat saai.
