Great location in a quaint cottage.
9.0I absolutely loved the location, about 20 meters up from the Golden Lion pub in the very centre of Port Isaac, and with a view overlooking the harbour (and the Doc's house, really Fern Cottage) from the upper bedroom window. It is a quaint, very old (600 years) cottage which has been renovated but is, as expected, small. The lounge room is fine, and the bedroom beautiful but the kitchen is perhaps, the tiniest I have ever used. The lighting is good, though, and everything that we needed was provided with very clever use of space, including a microwave/convection oven. The bureau and hutch in the lounge provides enough storage space and there was a good supply of kitchenware, crockery, cutlery etc in there. We also appreciated the provision of an allocated parking space marked Homestead, in the private carpark at the top of Church Hill Road. Because of the location, we could enjoy strolling around Port Isaac (Port Wenn?) early in the morning and later in the evening when the day tourists had left, and the town was quiet. It was lovely to watch the tides moving in and out of the harbour.
− Beware of the seagulls! They are really fast at swooping to take food, even from your hand, and we took to using umbrellas to prevent them from pooping on us from a great height (Yes this did happen more than once!)
Lovely cute home with lovely views
8.0We loved the proximity of the town and the views.
It was simply perfect. Would stay again. Owner was amenable to us bag dropping prior to parking which was super helpful
10.0Very pretty fisherman cottage in the heart of Port Isaac. It’s just too cute and very accessible for the harbour and eateries. Fab views and aesthetically pleasing :)

Overall the property fullfilled the experience of living in and enjoying the beautiful seaside village of Port Isaac
8.0Great location within metres of the centre of the village. Upstairs bedroom and bathroom very comfortable. Enabled us to get the full experience of living in this famous seaside village. Comes with parking.
− Kitchen very limited and lacked a few basic items. The property had a dampness problem but it didn’t impact our stay. Parking was a challenge to get to and very tight.

9.0The location The property was excellent with great facilities despite it being small.
− The parking space was a little small. If the car park had been full we would have struggles to park.
