10.0The place is family owned and run. They they are very relaxed and hospitable. Great location mid way between Niseko and Rusutsu.

Bugs in room, dog poo/pee on ground in hotel, dogs scratching at door at 5 am. Didn't refund.
1.0We found little of value with this place.
− We had low expectations going into this stay, since it was one star, but those expectations were not even meant. Hard to know where to start, but we had multiple issues - there are pets there that were no disclosed. I had a dog myself, but the dog(s) left poo/pee inside the lodge. Dog was scratching at room door at 6 am. There were bugs in the room. The wifi didn't work. There are no bath towels. The family that runs the lodge gets up at 5-6 am and makes a ton of noise. It feels like you're basically in their space. We left early to stay at another hotel. They wouldn't refund us, even after calling out all the issues we experienced. I would not ever stay here again, regardless of how cheap this place is relative to others in the area.

10.0Really enjoyed the location it’s right in the middle of Rutsutsu and niseko so we were able to choose based on conditions. Staff were great, Oka and Mami were both friendly, helpful, and overall wonderful folks.
