Lovely little property, a stones throw from the harbour...sad to leave :(

The location is excellent, just outside of town, so peaceful, yet a short walk to the hustle and bustle of the harbour and town. The beach is around a 10 minute walk. I loved the freedom of being able to park at the nearby Asda store, peace of mind that the car is reasonably secure, and we could come and go as we please. The property owners are really informative & we very much appreciated the welcome food/drink hamper on arrival. The property is small, but adequate for 3 adults or a small family. Bed linen and lovely soft towels were provided.

− No real complaints, just a few little niggles. The living room smelt a little bit doggy, but as it's a property that allows pets, then I assume it is hard to get rid of that. If you have mobility issues, beware of the stairs, they are very narrow and steep, but there are plenty of handles to grab on to , and remember to mind your head, as the ceiling is a little low.

Would thoroughly recommend. A charming and well positioned in the delightful Love Lane.

− The decor was very cute, with wall art and pirate theme. Big master bedroom at the top with a great view of Weymouth, decent bathroom and lovely welcome basket of goodies in the kitchen. Nice touch.

The cottage was very cosy and had what we needed for a few days. Handy for the town and seafront.

− I struggled with the spiral staircase at times but that's all.

A real little gem

Location was fantastic. So close to town and everything you would need. Great kitted out house and kitchen to use as a base for exploring. Clean throughout and quirky little details that made it feel homely. Our host was incredibly thoughtful and made our weekend feel like a great little escape!

− Not that we didn't like it but the stair cases were hard to navigate with small children. Ours were older but anyone under 3 needs to be supervised when ascending or descending the stairs.

− Nothing really although steps and stairs might be a problem for those with mobility issues.
