So glad we booked here
10.0Loved it, what a find, everything you needed and more was provided. The accommodation was absolutely spotless, and the bed was so comfy, we slept really well. The location was lovely and quiet and only a short walk to the town centre, The Mere or the beach. We would definitely return, and if you are going to the area, do not hesitate to book. We were sorry to leave.

9.0The accommodation was first rate. It was a peaceful spot but near to shops and the beach.
− The overhead storage cupboards in the kitchen area were too high for me to reach. My friends took down the glasses and cups I needed. Being over 80 years old perhaps a step stool would have been useful. However, that wouldn't stop me wanting to visit again.
Superb
9.0Blackwood is close to both the town centre and the seafront, which suited me well. Also, Hornsea Mere is only a short walk. The property has been recently renovated and the ambience is very pleasant.
− I don't like that there is no option to cancel (free of charge) if your plans change, but that seems to be the norm in East Yorkshire (in contrast to the rest of the world).
