Great apartment on Elba

Silvana contacted me before we arrived with tips for our stay. She and her husband, Claudio, were very nice and Silvana checked in with us to make sure everything was going well. The balcony is a great space to spend time. The AC was welcome as it was hot during our stay. We had everything we needed in the apartment. We loved that the beach was a short walk away even if on the way back it was uphill. :-) The apartment is more spacious than it looks in the pictures and there's plenty of room to store things. The water pressure in the shower is good. The area is quiet and very pretty. We'd stay here again.

− The mattresses are firm so that's something you have to like. Otherwise everything is great.

Silvana und Claudio haben uns sehr freundlich und herzlich empfangen und es war Weißwein, Wasser und Pesto für uns im Kühlschrank. Wir wurden auch mit frischen Tomaten und Eiern versorgt. Bei Fragen könnten wir uns jederzeit an sie wenden. Nisportino ist sehr ruhig und der Blick vom Balkon bot traumhafte Sonnenuntergänge.

Family holiday Elba

It was an excellent, peaceful location on the island of Elba, perfect for exploring the island. The hostess and host were incredibly kind and helpful. The beach is very close, and the sunset is breathtaking.

− The only minor downsides were that there is no door between the kitchen and the bedroom with the double bed, and that the neighbor’s roof slightly obstructed the sea view — but these are far outweighed by all the advantages of the accommodation.

Host was so kind to us. She gave us seats for the beach, taught the children how to use limpets to feed the fish, made us a yummy local dish and a jar of homemade pesto which was delicious. I liked the way it was off the beaten track but with all the essentials that is the beach, the pool and air con. Apartment had everything anyone could need and was super clean. Local restaurant served great pizza. A lovely hike from Nisportino beach brings you to a secluded beach. Just beautiful. You can hire kayaks and pedals from the beach was great great fun for the children. Great beach for rock pooling. The most magnificent sunsets and it’s lovely to eat pizza on the beach in the evening and skim stones on the sea. Nisportino had many Italians tourists from Italy. I got a good chance to practise my Italian again too.

The location is very beautiful, the beach is very nice (stone beach), there is the possibility of diving. The terrace has a beautiful view of the sea. The hosts were great and they also speak English. Many people on Elba do not speak English, so that was a nice surprise.

− there is no wifi, which we thought was fine, we have mobile data. But there is no signal here. You have to go to the beach or a hill to have a signal. But do we really need to be on the Internet all the time?
