Really friendly team and fab location
10.0Had a lovely stay at the Premier Inn in Holborn with our family. Great Location for Covent Garden and walking over to Oxford street. Took our daughter to London for her birthday weekend. Chaabi from the breakfast team was really kindly and made my daughter a massive hot chocolate (I thought the coffee machines did hot chocolate as well but they did not) and he made her day! Thank you!
Another excellent Premier Inn experience
10.0We stayed at Premier Inn ,Holborn because it was the nearest to the theatre we were going to. We always look for a Premier Inn to stay at because the standard is consistently high and PI Holborn was no exception. The room and food were of the expected high standard and all the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and approachable. Javed booked us in. He was absolutely spot on. He was everything you want and expect after a long journey. He is a real credit to Premier Inn. We will be back down in London early next year and there is no doubt at all about where we will be staying.
Good overall
8.0I stayed here whilst taking my son to Great Ormond Street Hospital. The hotel was good overall and a good location for the hospital. On arrival all of the check in machines were out of order and reception was unmanned. After a few minutes wait someone did appear and check us in and they were friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good but could be improved with better quality fruit, better pancakes (they were a bit dry), and some maple syrup (there were two empty bottles). I would happily stay here again. I've stayed in about a dozen different Premier Inns and this was about 4th best.
Yasmina
10.0Wanted to shout out Yasmina on the front desk specifically. She was kind and helpful and welcomed us warmly. Made a wonderful start to our day.
Great location, friendly staff
8.0Well located on a fairly quiet back street in a great location. The hotel is good, staff are friendly(especially Sabina). Little things I noted were cleanliness issues like grubby lift walls, tired looking stairwell paint but on the whole not too bad. The room we stayed in was fine but the carpet was sticky in places and again looking tired. Good tv channels. Great breakfast !
Overall okay but let down by a few things
6.0The hotel was in a good location, was easy to walk to most locations/tube stations to get around, the location was quiet in the evenings. We checked in online however on arrival the screen wouldn't work to get us a key card, however staff were quick to answer the support button. The room and bathroom overall were clean and tidy. The bed was quite creaky, and too short for my partner who is 6'1. We had one meal in the restaurant in the evening due to the rain, and it was very poor. The restaurant was empty, only another 2 guests present, and the food tasted frozen. Typically used to when Premier Inns are attached to 'chain pubs' and was looking forward to a decent meal however this was not what was received, I think the restaurant is run independently by the hotel which seemed to make a big difference.
