8.0We had a deluxe king room for our one night stay. It was clean and nicely presented and the bed/pillows were comfortable. The only problem for us was that the bed had only a top sheet to sleep under. This made it feel a bit too cold in bed, particularly as the air con needed to be set to stop heat building in the room. I expect in the height of summer this might be fine but despite the temp being set at 73 deg, we both felt we needed a blanket for full comfort- or at least be given the option of using one. The full size fridge with small freezer was useful for cold drinks but personally we’d have liked a coffee maker as we were in the furthest block from reception/restaurants although they did offer free coffee in reception if you got there before 8am which is a bonus. We ate at the restaurant and both the service and food were excellent. This hotel is in the heart of Death Valley and had we had time we’d have made use of the pool to cool off. There was a small sandstorm brewing when we arrived which was interesting! The hotel is a great option if you want to stay in the heart of this extraordinary national park.

10.0Enjoyed very much; a nice buffet: coffee, juice, pancakes, French Toast, toast, muffins, cereals. A variety of foods with the one condition; use a clean plate each time one returned for more delicious food for one reasonable price.
