6.0This hotel false advertises in pictures of a buffet breakfast available. Thank goodness there’s a Tim Horton’s down the street. No pool, the entire hotel is under renovation which apparently has been long ongoing. It says it’s an IHG property but that’s a stretch. My daughter was scared as the pillowcase had an old bloodstain on it. It was clean but she was terrified. The bathroom was nice . The bed had a very light comforter on it but it worked as the AC wasn’t super powerful. I couldn’t cancel and we definitely didn’t get a good deal. It was a nice area and extremely quiet.

8.0When we were checking in, we were told the hotel was under renovations. Pool was unavailable but did get a voucher for a visit to the local gym to use their pool. Somewhat disappointed that I did not know at the time of booking.
Under Renovation
8.0So overall the place was fine, but I wished they had let us know sooner that the entire hotel was going to be renovated, which really disappointed me. Pool and hot tub were unavailable (and that's what my family wanted), kitchen was under renovation so no restaurant/bar. The place after renovations probably will look awesome as overall what they have is nice but it left me with a sour taste that the things I wanted weren't available.
