6.0The room was large, breakfast good , close to the station and laundry facilities are an added bonus. The room with a city view is facing the high speed railway and really noisy. The view is very far away. When I asked for a quiet room I was told that the high speed stops at 10.30 but there was a loud drilling sound till about 1.30 am keeping me awake. If you’re a light sleeper do not opt for this room. The receptionist said Longmen grotto is $10 from the hotel but I went to the road and took a taxi which only cost about $1.5. If you want to have lunch turn left and go straight. There are few restaurants near the second signal lights.

First time to Luoyang
8.02 nights stay in between xi’an and Zhengzhou. Hotel is conveniently located right next to the hsr. Catches my eyes cuz it’s newly re-renovated. Loves the shower. its a tab too warm with no air con only heater (I traveled in mid March). There’s a convenience store right below for some tibits and drinks.
