10.0The Blue Rose was not only one of the most beautiful surprises of our entire trip to Egypt, but thanks to its unbeatable location right next to the famous temples, directly on the lake and in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Area, it was also the perfect starting point for everything that makes Abu Simbel so special. Important tip: Be sure to book more than just one night at the Blue Rose. The proximity to the temples makes it possible to enjoy both the sunrise and the evening show in a relaxed manner and to experience the history of Abu Simbel not only in passing, but really intensively. A very special thank you goes to our wonderful hostess – for her warmth, her care and for making our stay in Abu Simbel unforgettable.

10.0The apartment Blue Rose was an absolute surprise and a real highlight of our trip. The accommodation is fully equipped, very spacious and exceptionally clean – well above the standard we have otherwise experienced in Upper Egypt. The location is perfect: just a few minutes from the famous temples. Our hostess Gehan and her family were incredibly warm and hospitable. We were looked after around the clock and Gehan is also a fantastic cook. She also organized a boat trip to the temples for us in a completely uncomplicated way. This personal commitment made our stay something very special. The name Blue Rose fits perfectly, because the blue rose stands for rarity and uniqueness - that's exactly what a stay here feels like. An exceptional accommodation with heart, comfort and true Egyptian hospitality. We would come back anytime and can fully recommend the property.
