A brilliant stay, quiet and peaceful. Accommodating staff.
9.0The food was great and there was plenty of it. The staff were very accommodating and willing to meet our every request. Our guide was very flexible and tailored our game drives to our requests and needs.
− There wasn't anything we didn't like about staying at Pumba.
Had the place to ourselves! Great service, great food, super nice staff.
10.0The tents were large and able to accomodate all 5 of us. We booked two tents but due to an unexpected controlled burn in the area, my kids were not comfortable staying in a separate tent. Personalized service as we were the only guests during our two nights. Mosa, the manager, was super kind and apologetic about the Serengeti fire. They did their best to cater to our needs. Food was plenty - too much! Night bonfire was nice. Hot water in the showers. The tent felt safe.
− I felt bad because the fire seemed out of their control. When we pulled up the fire had just swept through the camp - we saw they lost at least one tent. Our tents had a layer of soot in them from the fire. Everything smelled like smoke. This made our group feel super vulnerable - not only knowing there were wild animals but worrrying about the flames we could still see in the distance. Mosa was super accomodating and allowed us to all stay in one tent despite renting two. So the things we did not care for were out of Pumba's control and should fall at the hands of the Serengeti park itself. Pumba did their best to work through it and make us feel as safe as they could.
Wow factor, top quality
10.0From our arrival at reception to being shown to our luxury accommodation this accommodation exceeded our expectations. The food was freshly prepared each morning and evening and gave the wow factor looking over the Serengeti Savannah planes. The best thing was herds of wilderbeast and zebra heading north on migration a relatively short distance from our tents. The safari guide we booked through the accommodation was absolutely amazing so special mention to Justin who also assisted with a flight issue we had. I definitely recommend this accommodation.
− WiFi had a slight issue and would not have even bothered us on this holiday had we not had an issue with our return flight. This did not spoil our trip as our safari guide assisted us using his communications.
Nice tented lodge
9.0Its in the middle of Serengeti, amazing views. Staff were polite and attentive. Tents are new and comfortable. Breakfast and lunch were very good.
− The word luxury mislead me, there is nothing luxurious about this place. But the price is. The dinner was disappointing, we were served lasagna and chicken with french fries and ketchup , don’t forget the breakfast and lunch the next day were perfect Also we have booked all inclusive and the people there were not aware of that fact and it was unpleasant when we left the place, looked like were were stealing three beers.
Remote tented camp. Was very muddy and staff did not do anytjing w gravel or straw to alter deep ruts around property.
8.0Tents were lovely. Chef & food exceptional.
− We were only guests. Three staff all very young. They were attentive & responsive, however did not feel totally safe as they said a flashlight will protect us from any wild animal encounters. It is called Luxury resort yet no bed service or removing coffee cups while we were out on game drive. I expected next level service.
