Noisy, uncomfortable in summer heat
2.0Owner was responsive and communicative. We were refunded for the remainder of our unused stay.
− We arrived at night during an extreme heat wave (32C, 90F). Apartment was up 30+ winding, dirty stairs and three different keys were needed for entry. Heat was stifling, no AC and unable to open a window due to loud street noise. Throughout the night, numerous people went up and down the noisy building steps. In the AM, coffee machine was not functional, shower was tiny, no hand soap in bathroom. Contacted owner who was apologetic and offered to send a cleaner with a window AC unit. Cleaner arrived and reportedly noted no issues. We decided to leave for a hotel.
