Beautiful Apartment in Fantastic Location but you need Earplugs for the road noise

Really clear communication and instructions with the owner. Simple key box with code outside the property. Situation is perfect, next to the memorial park which is a lovely 5 minute stroll to the Triton Fountain. Bus station is also 5 minute walk. We got an uber from the airport €14. Beautiful apartment over 3 levels. Bathroom on lower ground level, bedroom on first floor and open plan kitchen/sitting room with shower room on the top floor. It was all very clean and spotless, minus some cockroaches that decided to visit us at the later end of our stay in the lower bathroom. I informed the owners who were going to sort. Everything you needed in the kitchen. Comfortable bed. Outside the apartment is a cake/coffee shop, kebab shop and across the road a lovely outside restaurant. The only downsize and the reason we wouldn’t return is the noise. It felt like the cars were in the room with you. Our teenager was on the sofa bed on the top level where it wasn’t so bad but my husband and I didnt sleep well for the whole 4 days we were there. We live beside a road and read the reviews and thought it wouldn’t be an issue - but it sadly was a massive one. Not anything the owners can do though, so if you are a deep sleeper or you can sleep on the sofa bed - you will be fine. It’s such a shame as everything else was perfect.

Très belle décoration, spacieux, bien équipé, bien climatisé, propreté impeccable, quartier agréable, parc arboré à proximité, proche du centre touristique et des arrêts de bus. Seul bémol, rue passante, peut être prévoir double vitrage....malgré tout séjour très agréable.

− Le double vitrage pour palier au bruit de la circulation.

Das Haus hat am Tür-Eingang eine Codebox mit hinterlegtem Schlüssel. Wir bekamen den Code rechtzeitig mitgeteilt und konnten so den Schlüssel problemlos entnehmen und uns Zutritt verschaffen. Die Lage war für uns perfekt. Nur ein paar Gehminuten direkt vor den Toren der Hauptstadt Valletta und zum Busbahnhof. Dort fahren sehr regelmäßig Busse in alle Richtungen der Insel. Wir hatten eine 7-Tage-Bus-Dauerkarte (27 Euro pro Person) - diese kann man direkt am Busbahnhof erwerben (am Bushäuschen oder am Automat (welchen man auch auf Deutsch umstellen konnte). Die Buskarte gilt auch für Gozo. Die Touristinfo befindet sich links neben dem Tritonenbrunnen - dort gibt es kostenlos eine Karte der Inseln mit Orientierungspunkten der Highlights. Das Haus war sehr sauber. Handtücher und ausreichend Toilettenpapier waren vorhanden. Die Klimaanlagen funktionierten einwandfrei und waren sehr leise. Achtung: es gibt keine Möglichkeit zu Fuß zu einem Strand zu gelangen. Wer also Badeurlaub machen möchte, sollte sich ggf. eine andere Unterkunft suchen oder täglich Busfahren wollen.

− Es gab keine Kaffeemaschine - wir haben löslichen Kaffee gekauft. Aber direkt an der Straßenecke gibt es einen kleinen Laden (Tad-Dulcier - Öffnungszeiten: vormittags bis nachmittags) dort gibt es super Kaffee to go und auch kleine Törtchen und andere Leckereien. Ansonsten bekommt man beim Busbahnhof auch jederzeit Kaffee to go.

Czystość 100/10 (nigdy nie byliśmy w tak czystym apartamencie), lokalizacja 100/10, wyposażenie 10/10, kontakt z gospodarzem 10/10, ilość schodów 6/10 (ale byliśmy z małymi dziećmi, więc dlatego). Polecamy serdecznie i dziękujemy 🙂❤️
