Brilliant stay
10.0We decided on a weekend away as our son had an event in Malton on the Sunday. We originally booked The Sun as it was a good price and local to where we needed to be. We were booked into room 3, The Equine Suite and we were impressed with the size of the rooms. The sofa bed was made up ready for our son and both rooms had a tv (not used on this trip but would have been good if the weather hadn’t been as good) and there was plenty of room. Plenty of towels and the bed was comfy. The bar staff were brilliant and the little icecream truck outside was a nice touch, especially as they had dog friendly ice cream that our dog loved. The food at the pub is excellent. We ordered the Fish and Chips, Sausage and Mash, and the Halloumi Skewers. Everything was fresh and delicious. Breakfast the next morning was so good and the coffee was really nice as well. Plenty of parking as well and the B&B had a separate entrance so you didn’t have to go through the pub.
− The only problem we had was the shower didn’t work but we were offered an alternative shower to use.
