Our stay was 4 days in an extreme heatwave in France, 4 x 40+ ° days. We had an earlier checkin on arrival because of heat and could park in shade, so we were grateful for that. The pool was delightful in the morning or evening when the sun wasn't shining directly on it. The space we had was more than expected with a mezzanine lounge room, bathroom w shower, and bidet and then a separate toilet upstairs (in roof space so all sloping) and shared breakfast room and hallway downstairs. The accom description was brief and implied 1 room, with breakfast facilities. The bedroom had a portable air-conditioner, while there was a fan in the mezzanine lounge room and shared breakfast room downstairs. We were welcomed and felt comfortable having short chats with the owners despite the language barrier. Google and translating messages assisted with this. We drove into Bergerac, an easy short drive. There was plenty of parking, however, at a cost. I would recommend this accommodation except in extremely hot weather, if you have a car.

− Due to the extreme heatwave, the accommodation was extremely hot. The fans in the mezzanine lounge and shared breakfast room didn't make it comfortable enough to spend a lot of time there and the portable air-conditioning did provide a slight degree of comfort, enough to sleep, however it wasn't as comfortable as we had believed it would be @ pre booking, having assumed refrigerated aircon. We do understand this is on us, being Australian w. a/c is our norm, while not a norm in France. We also know extreme heat is out of owners' control, so this is not to dissuade anyone staying here, more to explain why it wasn't ideal at the time we stayed. More details in the brief accommodation description, explaining the whole accommodation set up re. different areas upstairs and downstairs, and some shared and separate toilet to the bathroom would assist others in managing expectations pre booking. I did provide this feedback to owners. I would definitely recommend this accommodation, except in extreme heat.

Very welcoming, relaxed hosts. Excellent swimming pool. Very close to Bergerac in quiet road.

Schönes gepflegtes Anwesen. Sehr freundliche Vermieter. Die Suite ist mit allem ausgestattet,was man braucht. Alles ist sehr sauber. Wir haben das Schwimmen im großen Pool in dieser heißen Woche sehr genossen.
