Amazing experience in a cute, fairly remote, village in the Cordillera Mts. - bring warm clothes!
8.0The property owner was extremely accommodating to our needs and inquiries. The location was perfect for a 1am early-morning hike to Mt. Pulog. Terrific value with comfortable beds and well-equipped kitchen and dining area for group meals.
− There was confusion on the dates we reserved thru booking.com, so double check all details with the property owners. You could consider earlier communication regarding a reservation to ensure accuracy in room details.
Disappointed
1.0The location is perfect for hiking Mt Pulag, which we didn't end up doing. If you're not doing the hike, the other guests are and are staying up late to do so, so it's very loud until about 2:30 am.
− When we arrived we were not greeted warmly. The woman who checked us in said we didn't have a reservation, which we did with Booking.com, then she tried her best to dissuade us from staying. We had a long drive and were tired, so we stayed one night instead of the two we booked because we didn't feel welcome. She also said we didn't pay in full, which we did on Booking.com, and approached us several times for more money.

1.0Location, great distance to do the hike
− Appreciate they are meant to be basic but this was beyond that. The other people we stayed with who are regulars at various home stays in this area said it was the worst one they’d ever stayed in and moved during the night. We came prepared but it was so cold, there was no kettle to use and the deluxe room with shower had huge holes in so all the elements outside came in making it unusable. They also didn’t know about 1 of our bookings which had been booked online and paid for in advance

7.0Simple but perfectly located accommodation. The accommodation is basic with simple equipment, but it’s more than sufficient for a comfortable stay. The biggest advantage is the location—you can start your hike to the summit of Mt. Pulag directly from the property. An ideal place for hikers who value location and practicality.
