Overall, while the location is great, the lack of cleanliness and the rigid check-in/out policy mean I wouldn’t stay
6.0The location is excellent – one block from the beach, close to surfing lessons and food truck parks. The place is also well equipped, especially with beach gear (chairs, towels, etc.), which was very convenient.
− Unfortunately, the downsides outweighed the positives. The cleaning was poor – there was dust everywhere, and we found two dead cockroaches plus had to kill another one ourselves right after check-in. The cabinets are old and worn. But the biggest issue was the inflexible and restrictive check-in/out policy. Check-in is strictly at 4:00 PM and check-out is strictly at 10:00 AM, with no flexibility at all. The host’s message literally said: “There will be no early check ins.” This narrow window really reduced the value of a 5-night stay and left a very negative impression. Plus communication is a big challenge, you’re going to be overwhelmed with automatic messages but when it comes to reach them out forget it, at least 2h for a response.
