Great apartment, ideal position

The unit was in a great position, close to transport and pubs 🍻 Everything we needed for our stay.

− Main bed was found to be too firm. That was our only issue with the property.

The location is excellent with it being just 200 yards from Euston station and a 10/15 minute walk from Kings Cross. I drove and although there is on street parking, I decided that there’s restrictions during a weekday and there my have not been a space, I booked car parking at St Pancras Crypt which was, I thought, 5 mins drive. I didn’t factor in the one ways etc. but tbh, it is just up the road. There’s lots of room within the property with a fully fitted kitchen inc pot & pans, crockery and glasses(although I took champagne flutes and left some there…just in case). Clean oven and grill. Although there’s a few marks on the walls (peoples suitcases) and carpets (some guests don’t respect other peoples property) it was clean throughout. If the weather had been kind, there’s a small outside area which we didn’t use but would have. I asked for another set of keys and because of our circumstances, we were given another set which was absolutely perfect, thank you. I needed 4 bedrooms for us all the night before our daughter’s wedding. There’s 2 full bathrooms and a downstairs loo. The pictures show the apartment exactly although there’s a small room we used to press our clothes too. The ‘master bedroom’ is huge and we used that for the prepping the bride on the day of the wedding. 3 double bedrooms and a single. All in all, we had a magnificent stay, wonderful wedding and made magical memories. Incidentally, the Bombay Indian restaurant just up the road is fantastic.

− No mirrors in the bedrooms although there are mirrors in the apartment which we juggled and replaced before leaving. Wi-Fi patchy. Could do with extenders or a super fast connection.

Great location, but there is room for improvement

Excellent location, easy access , good communication with the owners

− We made a booking for 3 people. The bed in the bedroom was a small double. Unfortunately very uncomfortable for two normal sized people to sleep in (it’s not that we are bigger than average). For comparison, the sofa bed in the living room was bigger and in the end two people of our group had to sleep there and only one in the bedroom, which is not ideal. This is a real pity, as there is enough room for an actual double bed in the bedroom. Underneath the sofa bed, we found a food wraping and we also found a robe left in the bedroom. The apartment was otherwise clean, but not perfectly if you take the above into consideration. Finally, even though we have booked for three, the were only two face towels (but to be fair, there were four bath towels). As a general comment that we did not take into consideration in the score of our review, we would advise to clean the living room walls (something very easy to be done and it would definitely make it look more fresh and tidy).

De locatie t.o.v. de grote treinstations van Noord-Londen en metro-netwerk. Het appartement was beter uitgerust dan verwacht op grond van verkoopinformatie Booking.com. Huiselijke uitstraling.

− Ik had gevraagd om zo rustig en hoog mogelijk vanwege medische indicatie - slapen overdag. Dit werd volgens Booking.com gehonoreerd op voorhand. Het appartement bleek echter op de eerste verdieping te liggen en boven een pub met buitenterras. Ook wegwerkzaamheden met drilboren van vroege ochtend. Veel te weinig slaap gehad als gevolg hiervan. Bed was eerder twijfelaar dan tweepersoonsbed. Hard bed. Geen lift aanwezig. Voor ons geen probleem, maar mogelijk wel voor oudere mensen. Ouder pand en daardoor gehorig.
