− Les gens qui squattent devant l’appartement qui est au rez-de-chaussée. Qui boivent et parlent fort le soir. Peu rassurant surtout pour les femmes.

What a place! I stayed there with my husband, uncle, and his family, so there were 6 of us total. The adults took the two bedrooms, and the "kids" took the sofa bed in the living room. It was more than enough space and had two full bathrooms. All the amenities we needed were there, and the location is amazingly convenient for getting around Paris, but even for coffee, crepes, fresh fruit or vegetables from the market, or more items from the other grocery stores nearby (there's a French, Chinese, and Arab one all nearby). The beds were also spacious, and the soundproofing was well done. I saw some reviews about people sitting on their doorsteps; I'm not sure what they expect in a big city where there aren't many benches around. This is usual in any big city, and the people who do (which isn't often) are harmless and will move if you need to go into the building.

Het appartement aan 7 Rue d’Aligre ligt op een erg fijne locatie in Parijs, vlak bij Gare de Lyon en het levendige Marché d’Aligre. De buurt heeft veel sfeer, met winkels, cafés, markten en goede verbindingen met het openbaar vervoer.
