Nice place to stay in Nanyang
8.0We stayed here for a week during a convention. The rooms were large, spacious, well laid out, and we had a great view of the courtyard from our 8th floor room. We got the Junior Suite and worth it. The rooms are a tad outdated, plus although the signs say no smoking, people smoked before and there were two ashtrays in the room. I don't think there is truly a non-smoking room in China. The buffet was plentiful with international and Chinese foods available. Hotel staff's English was limited, but that is the worst of it.
Good business hotel
8.0This is a better than average Holiday Inn hotel. Especially the rooms are spacious and have all amenities you need. The Wifi speed can be slow at times, for example in the evenings. The television only seems to have Chinese language channels. Western style food can be found in the lounge bar, although not the complete menu is available and it takes quite a lot of time to receive the food. Fantastic Chinese breakfast buffet; there is also a Western style buffet. A larger choice of fresh fruit would be recommendable. The staff is very friendly and tries to help you at all times. Most of them do not speak English well enough for an international hotel, but they compensate that by using a translation app on their smartpone. Good enough for me. The hotel is about 5 km away from the city center, so you will need a taxi to get there.
Another very good visit
8.0Stayed here for the second time on a business trip. Location was great. My room was excellent, internet was very good, and heater really worked (too well). Sleep quality was excellent. Breakfast was very good. Overall, a very good night.
