Rejuvenating & Celebratory Stay In a Lovely Property

We stayed here for 4 nights in April 2026. The property is very beautiful and quiet, the rooms are spacious with lovely views and the staff is super helpful and exceptional in service. They have a number of activities and we tried a few and were delighted with all of them. Special mention for the bird walk in the morning, the spa sessions and the candlelight dinner organised by the pool. The food is also very good and has a homely feel. All in all a super experience befitting the property’s reputation as one of the top resorts in Coorg. We will certainly come again!

The location is very beautiful , very calm and serine environment. Best place to spend your time away from city . The rooms are also very good , very neat . Bojamma , darshan and Irayappa have done a good job in keeping the room neat and clean. Overall we had a very good time.

Me and my wife were at The Tamara - Coorg !! In cottage no 211 on the 3rd, 4th and 5th April. It was a fantastic experience. We were absolutely delighted and satisfied. We felt the ownership / management has taken good care of the staff. It very clearly reflected on how they cared for us. Right from the moment we stepped in and met Sahana until the time we checked out everyone knew how to make us feel comfortable, valued and happy. The food was awesome and the staff at the restaurant fed us as if we were there family. Arun the chef, Manjunath and everyone one of them deserve a huge thanks from us.

An Extraordinary Stay at The Tamara Coorg with One Major Concern Our experience at The Tamara was truly extraordinary—honestly, even better than what I had expected. I visited with my son for 2 days on their summer package, and every moment inside the property felt special. The hospitality stood out in every way. Mr. Dinesh was extremely professional, helpful, and cordial, ensuring we were comfortable throughout our stay. The food was absolutely delightful, and the experiences curated by the team were memorable. We especially loved the cardamom and rudraksh trail trek—our naturalist, Aswath, was incredibly knowledgeable and informative, which made the entire experience even more enriching. However, I must highlight a serious concern regarding the commute arranged through the Tamara travel desk. Despite repeatedly informing them that I would be traveling solo with my son and requesting a competent and responsible driver, the experience was very disappointing. The assigned driver, Gopal Nayek (from Arjun Travels), was rash and appeared unwell (continuously coughing). He was also a chain smoker and continued smoking despite repeated requests to stop. Additionally, there was constant complaining about the road conditions, which made the journey uncomfortable and stressful. While the stay at The Tamara was exceptional, I would strongly recommend not opting for their arranged commute services.

This is the most beautiful location in the jungle, surrounded by trees, only birds and nature sounds to be heard. The room was-apart from super clean- decorated every day with so much love to detail (Ravi, the lady from houskeeping did a spectacular job there). The buffet was incredible, so much to chose from, and everything we tried was delicious. All staff were amazing, and special thanks to Preethy. We will be back!
