6.0Staff were helpful, good location close to Paddington station with plenty of local amenities. Property was clean and fairly well kept
− No lift- big old building so not easy if you are above the second floor! Breakfast was horrendous- precooked and served as you walked in. Cooked breakfast was rubbery bacon, lukewarm beans and 2 overcooked eggs. Cold options were limited. Very noisy- street noise, noise from other guests and the adjoining hotels. Doors slamming and very thin walls. Some minor maintenance issues. Reception only open 7-11 so you can’t check out until after 7 (not great work business travellers) and you are stuffed if you need to check in late or need reception out of hours. Two buildings- one across the street. Room door does not lock from the inside. Shower is DANGEROUS! The bathroom was so tiny, and every time I moved in the shower I would knock the tap and scald myself! Not suitable for children! Unsuitable for those with limited mobility
