The best place to have an unforgettable and quiet vacation!
10.0If you are looking for a place to enjoy some nights in Eilat - this is the best hotel !! We reserved 2 nights in Herods and contacted the hotel for special request. The hotel manager (Shirly) and her staff (the chef and his team) did above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable! And indeed , it is an unforgettable one!! This is not our first stay here and we are glad we’ve decided to enjoy our anniversary here as this hotel just continue being the BEST!

A frustrating and disappointing start to what was meant to be a joyful holiday at a so-called luxury hotel.
2.0We arrived on Saturday at the Herods Boutique Hotel in Eilat, planning to spend the Shavuot holiday there and celebrate a family birthday. We hoped to begin the holiday in a calm, pleasant atmosphere – but instead, we were met with a frustrating, disappointing, and ultimately unnecessary experience. We arrived at the hotel at 4:00 PM, knowing that check-in would be completed by 6:00 PM. In reality, we stood, waited, asked questions, and only received our room at 9:00 PM. The explanation we were given? The previous guests simply didn’t vacate the room – as if that’s our problem, and not the hotel’s responsibility. And what did we do during those five hours? We wandered the streets with a baby just a few months old who couldn’t fall asleep – tired, restless, and above all, sleep-deprived. Our daughter had to sleep with her grandparents, and they – elderly people who came to enjoy themselves – found themselves spending the night in a tense, cramped, and unpleasant situation. As for us, we just felt lost. And when we finally got the room? We discovered it was unclean – leftovers of rice, sunflower seed shells, cigarette butts on the balcony. Instead of a moment of relief – it was just another slap in the face. The staff was polite, but in practice, we received no real help, no solution, and no compensation. It felt like we were just left to deal with it on our own – on a night that was supposed to be the festive start to a special vacation. We arrived in good spirits, ready to celebrate – and left deeply disappointed. This is not how one expects to begin a vacation at a hotel that’s considered luxurious. What a shame. Truly a shame.

10.0I liked the gym and executive lounge. Beach was close and very nice
Not a friendly hotel
6.0Very noisy. The rooms are not soundproof and you can hear every party or performance from a kilometer away. A room for three adults was arranged as for a couple and a child even though there was a request for 3 separate beds. The staff simply ignored

8.0We booked the Leonardo Plaza for 3 nights , but were told that we had been upgraded to the Herods Boutique which sounded great. The bed was really comfortable and the food, extremely good, but cleanliness of the rooms really pulled the hotel standard down. No spare pillows or blankets were provided. The bathrooms are in desperate need of renovation. The televison had a mind of it's own. We turned it off and it would come on and it kept cutting out. The rooms were very dark, very bad lighting. The whole hotel looks tired. I realise that the emphasis is on Herod's but a little bit of extra thought should be given to the Herods Boutique. I also read on their site that car parking was free. On arrival at the hotel another couple were told that parking was NIS35 a night. I mentioned the internet site saying that parking was free and the answer given was that it is free at Herod's on a space available basis. This point was not clear at all. The staff were very polite.
