Partyhostel mit ungemütlichen Zimmern
4.0Gute Möglichkeit draussen zu sitzen, zenrale Lage
− Küche zu klein für die Grösse des Hostels, Zimmer ungemütlich, Klimaanlage im Zimmer sehr lautz und zu kalt eingestellt, darf nicht verstellt werden. Gäste ab 40 müssen in ein Einzelzimmer, da dies ein Partyhostel ist und die Manager Beschwerden fürchten, wenn sie im Mehrvettzimmer untergebracht sind - das ist Ageism!

− Mon expérience avec MOM Darwin a été extrêmement décevante. Suite à une altercation avec un résident blanc qui, selon mon expérience, me harcelait au travail et à l'auberge, je me suis sentie traitée injustement. Au lieu de recevoir du soutien ou de voir la situation examinée de manière impartiale, j'ai été exclue. Par la suite, je n'ai plus pu rester à l'auberge et je pense avoir été de facto interdite d'accès aux autres auberges de Darwin. Je me suis donc retrouvée sans domicile fixe, ce qui a eu des conséquences désastreuses sur ma vie. J'ai également eu le sentiment d'être victime de discrimination raciale. Que ce soit intentionnel ou non, la manière dont ma situation a été gérée m'a donné l'impression de ne pas être entendue, de ne pas être soutenue et d'être traitée différemment. Compte tenu de mon expérience personnelle, je ne peux pas recommander MOM Darwin. J'espère qu'ils amélioreront leur gestion des conflits, qu'ils enquêteront sur les plaintes de manière équitable et qu'ils veilleront à ce que chacun soit traité avec respect et égalité, quelles que soient ses origines.
Very bad compared to other hostels
2.0The best things were that it was located pretty in a pretty good spot and the Happy Travels desk was very nice and helpful.
− Very filthy and disgusting. Not cleaned well enough, we were on the first floor so the bathrooms were ruined by everyone in the common areas and they were not cleaned nearly enough. Room was also lackluster and not clean. The service was nothing special.
