Excellent Hotel for a Stay in the Calais Vicinity
10.0This hotel offers a very personal level of service run by a young couple. Communication from Thomas was excellent. The Chateau is located in a small village . Parking was plentiful. The rooms have plenty of character and are large and spacious. However the mattress on the bed was a bit hard for me personally. As a suggestion, a foam mattress topper might be a good idea. We were offered a 3 course meal which we took advantage of especially following a 6 hour drive from Colmar. The dinner was superb and obviously lovingly prepared by Thomas’ wife. We had an early start the next day but Thomas ensured we had some croissants and coffee before we left. The Eurotunnel is about 45 minutes drive away. We do recommend this hotel and would return.

10.0Lovely overnight stop on our way home from France at this very grand-looking home. The owners, who treat clients as house guests, gave us a warm welcome and provided us with a delicious home cooked dinner. Morning fresh bread and pastries collected to order by mine host for breakfast accompanied a good buffet. Comfortable bed, clean linen and ample parking. Very good value too - we will be back.

8.0An interesting old property with lots of original features. Our dog loved the spacious, secure back garden. The bar and restaurant are very comfortable and our evening meal was very good.

10.0Lovely young couple run the chateau and they do everything they can to make the stay perfect. We had dinner which was a fixed menu but really good quality. They gave us a choice of pastries for breakfast. Just a short journey from Calais.
