Amazing management and beautiful home
10.0No need to look any further for a place to stay in Lijiang if you’re planning to come here for a few days of tourism: this hotel is near the middle of the main old town/walking area is a fantastic value at less than 150usd a night. The washroom is modern and everything else is stylistically well designed and maintained in the moremore traditional fashion. Most impressively though was the level of detail and care provided by the warm and welcoming manager of the hotel and her staff. She double checked our itinerary to ensure we would have enough time for each step, gave recommendations, and helped us organize transportation where necessary. She offered cakes and tea for when we returned in the evening, and packed a small to-go bag of breakfast, knowing we had an early-morning departure. I’ve stayed in countless 4/5 star hotels and have never experienced this much helpful, yet non-intrusive hospitality from any other lodging.
