Le petit déjeuner est gargantuesque et fait maison ! Mary est une hôtesse remarquable et nous reviendrons sûrement !

Top rate in every way
10.0We arrived late on a Friday evening and were greeted by Mary who showed us to our room, providing us with information about what was available locally. The room was a really good size with a good double and single bed. Kettle, cups with tea and coffee were provided along with a bottle of water each. The bathroom was enormous with a huge, hot shower with great water pressure along with fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. The setting is in beautiful countryside so extremely restful but with Athy less than 10 minutes away with plenty of eateries and entertainment available. We were staying overnight before an event in Carlow which was really convenient too. Breakfast was very tasty with a selection of porridge, cooked breakfasts, toast, cereals, drinks and eggs on offer. The dining room again is very bright and spacious. Again Mary wasn't short of conversation in the most comfortable sense, a lovely host. Late breakfast and checkout are a further attraction to top of excellent service and accomodation.

Driving instructions:
Stay on the M9 motorway until exit 3 (ignore sat nav. advise to take exit 2). Take N78 direction Athy. The B&B is the 3rd right turn called Burtown Big L8017. Drive 0.9 mi. to the entrance, drive down the avenue to the farmhouse. From Athy enter N78 direction Dublin/Waterford at the roundabout, Burtown Big is the 4th left turn.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
