− Parking was expensive. Cleanliness was poor, we found dried chicken pieces on the floor. Mould in the bathroom. Uncomfortable bed and pillows. Very outdated property with improvements needed.

− Wi-Fi didn’t work. Neither of the contact phone numbers contactable. Carpet was stained & dirty. House is at a junction of 2 busy roads, so somewhat noisy. No city view as advertised.
Comfortable and close to everything!
8.0Bed was comfy, and bedding nice and soft! Clearly high quality. Accommodation close to the town centre and tourist spots just a short walk.
− There were some stains on the bedding, however it was 100% clean.
Good to know
Charles House will not accommodate any guests under the age of 16. When booking for 3 rooms or more, a deposit of 10% will be taken on booking. Please note that the digital pin to access the mian building and your booked Guest Room is sent 48 hours before check-in. The guest house is unattended, but the owner is only a short distance away if required. Public parking is possible at a location nearby and costs can be accessed once the pre arrival form has been completed, along with lots of other useful information.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
