2.0We were looking for a hotel/motel close to the VA and reading the reviews of Super Inn Tucson it seemed just the place to go. First, I could not understand how this place could get such good reviews when we arrived and entered our room. We reserved a nonsmoking room. This one reeked of cigarettes and we were given another room, same here reeking like an ashtray. Since it was late we decided to just deal with it. While moving our suite cases into the room, walking back to the reception etc. there was the constant smell of marijuana smoke, no matter where I went. Room was filthy, dirty floor, noisy bed, lumpy pillows and TV did not come with a remote control. Receptionist told me one would be brought to our room. Never saw that remote. This by far was the worst motel we have ever stayed in. I felt like we were in an encampment with shady people, no wonder the great review. I will not ever return that's for sure. Btw the photo of the nice pool, that pool is algae green and we were told it hasn't been cleaned nor opened in months. Disgusting place, even poor people like the ones staying there deserve better. Total falls advertisement. We did not feel save to stay here.
