10.0The receptionist was very pleasant, and helpful. The room was very clean. There was only a five minute walk to the beach. A 711 store was just across the street.

The only good thing about this hotel is its proximity to the beach. I wouldn’t recommend a stay here to my worst enemy.
3.0The location was good, but not much else was.
− The blankets were more like thick bedsheets, so you’d have to keep the room hot to avoid shivering to sleep at night. There was substantial grime buildup under the soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers, and mold behind the bathroom sink (you could see it in the reflection on the faucet). Over the course of a 1-week stay, housekeeping visited zero times, even though I specifically requested their services and was assured they would arrive. Only one window exists for the room, looking out onto a hallway that’s shared by the rest of the floor, and the privacy curtains are fully transparent so everyone can see through them in both directions. The blackout curtains are your only hope for privacy, and while they do prevent outsiders from looking in, they do not black out the window at all. Because the outside hallway has 24/7 bright white lights illuminating it and the blackout curtains leak light from their entire perimeter, the room is constantly illuminated from within (yes, even with all internal lights turned off). The room was plagued by flies as well, so if you book this hotel be sure to bring fly strips with you! Hopefully they’ll work better for you than they did for me.
