− Would like to have had another fan in the room but we didn’t ask for one which I’m sure they would have gave us !

7.0Location was perfect for us. Comfortable room. Nice staff with a great atmosphere. Super gardens with lovely hanging baskets etc.
− Parts of room were a bit scruffy. Paint peeling, broken tiles, loose headboard, skirting round bath split and dirty. Breakfast starts at 0930?- blimey, that's nearly lunchtime. Don't let any of this detract from the fact that this hotel is friendly and attractive. It just needs a makeover in Tawney Owl room. Morning staff said it was due to be decorated.

Not good option in summer
7.0Friendly and helpful staff
− Rooms were very hot with no air conditioning and little ventilation during few very hot days. Bright lights just outside only window makes it difficult to sleep.
Beds very comfortable
10.0Helpful staff and very helpful on a problem someone had taken the sink plug and even the tv control box came and apologised and even offered a free breakfast for inconvenience.
