10.0Such a wonderful and unique experience ! The owner greeted us outside the door with a warm welcome and also on our departure was there to say good bye. The entire staff was so kind and courteous. Marina, especially went out of her way to help us throughout our stay. We chose to book the private onsen room and it was well worth the extra charge. We also opted to have the traditional Japanese dinner. Again, such a unique and amazing experience. We were asked to choose from a beautiful selection of yukatos/kimonos upon our arrival to wear to our dinner. And of course don’t miss the snow monkeys! It is a short train ride, but then quite a long walk uphill and a further beautiful hike to get there. (We did see taxis dropping off people to the top but it would still be half an hour easier hike to arrive there ). Worth it !
