Super nice staff who made especually our children feel adored! The bure was so beautiful and very clean. Village visit is a must-do! Mei mei mama service was great! Lots of activities to choose from.

− The food quality varied a lot. Sometimes it was excellent, sometimes far from it. The vegetarian food was good for adults, but for my vegetarian child the dinner time was a bit of a disaster. For two nights she was eating just plain spaghetti, then when we complained about it there was one night when she got a pre-ordered pizza margherita. Next night her vegetarian preorder had been forgotten again. She definitely did not get what I would have expected for the price of the meal package. The Kids Club was fun and my daughter loved spending time there. But they were not very reliable. Sometimes they simply didn't do the things listed on their schedule. And one time they took all the kids to the pool and just suddenly left them there on their own! There were clearly kids who didn't know how to swim, so that was unforgivable. I was by the pool at the time and waited for an hour for them to come back just out of curiosity, but they never came back.

I usually don't write reviews because I am quite lazy... But this was one of my favorite hotel experiences ever!! I stayed at the dorms and found the shared facilities extremely clean. All the staff I interacted with were absolutely lovely, and so very kind. Truly made me feel cared for and like I was a part of the family. Definitely recommend the guided hike!! Also the Japanese restaurant, was the highlight, both the lunch and dinner staff were the kindest and most lovely people, and the food was so yummy!!

Good stop to island hop in the Yasawas

A great stop in the Yasawa islands. We stayed in the bunk bed dorm which was comfortable with air conditioning and beach and bath towels provided. Unfortunately it was a fairly interrupted sleep due to other guests in the dorm (no fault of the resort). Unfortunately we had limited snorkelling due to big swells with the beach being closed some of the days but what we could see was pretty good reef. The dinner at Donu Japanese restaurant was fantastic.

− The tapas lunch at donu was pretty light with only 2 small plates per person which left us feeling hungry. We had to pay for extra plates which was disappointing given the price of the food package we had already paid.

Octopus experience is amazing: 1. Located beachfront with a vibrant reef right off the front 2. Cute bungalows and nicely maintained grounds 3. Can your village which is a short walk away 4. Food and service were great, sufficient options and Donu onsite restaurant elevates dining experience 5. Kids club took great care of the children and kept them safe and entertained with activities 6. Staff excellent and we enjoyed our stay
