Perhaps this is the only international hotel in the area of Xuzhou but there are lots to be improved upon. The hotel has seen its better days as room though clean showed signs of aging especially in the bath area whereby the rubber seals are dirty. Though it is a 5 stars hotel, I was surprised that only the Chinese restaurant is open for dinner and the other restaurant is a breakfast only restaurant. Breakfast catered more to local guests rather than international guests. Overall the hotel would not make my cut for a 5 stars hotel

− There are no outlets beside the bed, the other outlets in the room were worn out, meaning they couldn’t hold a plug, causing equipment not to charge and this is a potential fire hazard. The hotel wants you to pay at check-out, no matter if you have paid online in the booking.com app. this means you can’t use booking.com credit and need to contact customer service for reimbursement. hotel should just block the prepaid option!

− In booking. Com it says this hotel has a club, and I booked a club room and checked in just like any regular guest. I came to find that the so called club is the lobby lounge which is not a club lounge and offers same food as a dimsum restaurant. Very low class for a crowne plaza. The workers are all so unprofessional, if you don't tell them, you will never get tableware. The food is decent. But no real club service is offered for elite guest. BOOKING. COM PLEASE remove that line about clubs as this is not a club and I felt robbed as I had to pay all my dinners even during happyhour as everything offered in happy hour is not for my taste, or not suitable for the time is being offered. All staff need to be re-trained; today in the morning I was guided to a table in a half empty restaurant, then to come back to eat my breakfast facing a stranger without any manners smacking his lips as he slurped his soup. I have shared tables at public restaurants before, but there's a level of standard that even a 3 star hotel must uphold and you don't expect this low level service at a Crowne plaza. Tables must be assigned accordingly! And on the first day I waited 20 minutes to get bacon in an empty restaurant is totally unacceptable! Very poor service and total waste of money!

This hotel is really fantastic. Best location,easy to arrive by different ways. Spacious room, very clean inside. Superb facilities, especially gym center. Also the food, super yummy, the price is good! Best option for business trip.
