Clean room

− On the table in the coffee room I found two little cucaraches

Highly frustrating experience due to a stressful payment dispute and being double-charged at check-n

The hotel staff initially informed us that our room was ready when we arrived. Unfortunately, the rest of the check-in process became highly stressful due to a major billing issue. Other issue is the whole hotel ice machines did not work none of them until they told us go to 2nd floor and it only worked 1x the next day before taking off wanted to fill up my ice chest to keep some drinks cold for my kids and nope did not work had to go to the store to buy me the ice. One of the worst Experience from all the hotels i have stayed in by far. other issue for breakfast, Toaster machine has the option to put 4 breads but 2 of them don't work took us about 30 mins almost to be able to set and eat the cold food. Other issue is the room door doesn't close unless i put a lot of force to close it, and also the door look is completely lose and just hanging on there like wtf is this man small little things that matters for your customers safety and to stay safe. we did not feel safe with the door like this what so ever.

− The app confirmed our booking was fully prepaid, but the hotel claimed my wife's card was denied and forced us to pay a second time at the desk. Our bank account had plenty of funds available, and my own card from the exact same bank account worked perfectly. This caused severe confusion and left us extremely frustrated with the double charge.

Location is good.

− The Washroom Door was broken and no one came to repair it despite informing on reception. Breakfast meal got out of stock before the end time.

The location was great for what I wanted and the room was clean.

− The lobby was never really clean. I saw water on the floor most of the times I went in and instead of cleaning it up, they simply put a yellow caution placard up. That is a slipping hazard. I even left for several hours and the water was still there when I came back. No one was ever at the front desk. The front desk people were sitting around the corner where no one could see them. They should have been cleaning up the messes in the lobby and replenishing the cups by the water dispenser. Also, the walls were thin. I could hear the guy in the next room snoring and I could hear his TV when he had it on. The doors slam VERY LOUDLY if someone doesn't catch it...louder than I've ever heard. That happening at 11:30pm is not ideal. The floors in the room felt wet, sticky, or something that wasn't right. I honestly thought it was a small step up from Motel 6. For the price, I expected more.
