− We stayed in room 4. No hot water or sink plug. When pointed out to breakfast staff, no apology, just 'I'll tell the manager'. No further contact. Found out later that this had been known about for some time but no action taken. Cleaning and washing floor taking place while eating breakfast, which was very meagre for the money paid.

9.0When we arrived we were slightly disappointed but the staff couldn’t have been nicer. Nothing was too much trouble. The menu was pretty standard- usual pub-grub but tasted good. We only ate there the first night- just not enough variety. Breakfast was excellent. Cooked to order and good quality ingredients.
− The bedroom was fine but the pub was a little soulless. Sure that it will improve. The landlord has only been there 5 months and is still finding out what works best for people. He is very friendly and easy to talk to.
