Very economical place to overnight in Taupo.
7.0The room had everything we needed, plus a bath. On a nice evening it was a pleasant walk into town to get a meal. Nice view across the lake from the small balcony.
− A little austere. Air-con did not initially work. Had to wait whilst towels were delivered. Hot water could have been warmer.

7.0Decent sized room, bath, parking, close to town centre, and tidy.
− Large bedroom window had no privacy . So neighbour's could see right through to our bedroom (no nets or tinted windows). Bunk beds were wobbly and noisy. Was supposed to have a queen sized bed, instead we got 2 x single beds that were pished together, and they were uncomfortable.
