Bank Holiday weekend
10.0We had such a fantastic stay this weekend, perfect location. The hosts are simply wonderful, lovely little pub, great atmosphere and the meals are sooo good, including breakfast which were insanely good! We'll definitely be back and will recommend The George for our friends and family to stay!

10.0From arrival the staff were friendly and helpful, asked if we wanted help with our bags, took breakfast order night before which meant when we went for breakfast there was no waoting around, the breakfast itself was lovely! Room was in keeping with the local aesthetic, but modern and well kept. Can't fault the place at all!
Good value inn in village setting
10.0We had an overnight stay at The George on our way home from holiday and it was ideally located just off the M6. The owners and staff are very welcoming and friendly and we had a very nice evening meal and an excellent breakfast. The room was a little old fashioned, but was clean and comfortable.

10.0for the price this was excellent value. the room was simple, spotless and exactly met me needs for stopover between south wales and dundee.. The bed was really firm and very comfortable. Staff really and welcome friendly, food standard pub grub served with a smile. breakfast very nicely done and my being veggie not a problem. i plan to stay there again as i make this trip regualrly
