My partner and I enjoy our treks to Julian and this is a great place to stay.
8.0Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. A/C worked well. TV backlights were a little annoying but nothing crucial. I'd happily stay here again.
− Water pressure in the shower wasn't great but satisfactory. The only semi complaint I have is that the cushions on the chairs were not comfortable at all. They felt broken in.

10.0Clean, renovated room with updated AC. Very comfortable room and cool and comfortable for our dog during hot weather. I did a follow up phone call to the hotel directly to confirm with them that we had a dog with us. No grassy area but plenty of space to potty our pup. Very easy check in/check out process. It's right across the street from California Mountain Bakery voted the best apple pie place in California multiple times.
− There's nothing we didn't like except maybe a grassy area or turf area for the dog would be nice but not a deal breaker. We managed.
Wonderful staff, close to Julian without being on main strip. Good restaurants nearby.

3.0Location Room size
− Staff would only answer text messages and not the phone. Water reservoir for coffeemaker was full, but green with algae. Intermittent whooshing sound all night. The shower on off handle seemed ready to fall off. Only got hot water if the handle was all the way on cold, and then it was lukewarm at best.

Convenient location, excellent staff and very clean suite.
8.0Staff was fantastic and super helpful when we realized we needed a bigger room for additional traveler. She maintained contact with us until she knew we were settled. Very thoughtful.
− Check-in process is off-site and not well explained. Without onsite staff being so helpful, we would not have been able to check-in to our room.
