Cheap and cheerful option for a stay in central Catania but don’t expect too much
7.0Centrally located for exploring Catania. The room had the essentials for a stay and always good to have a nespresso machine in the room.
− It was not clear during booking that there would be no staff present during check in or throughout the stay. Whilst remote check in was managed smoothly, it would have been more pleasant to be welcomed to the property. We didn’t like that the room key was already in the door when we arrived as this didn’t feel very secure.

6.0Des es nah ist zur Stadt Zentrum Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt in Ordnung und die Lage ist wirklich sehr gut. Der Gastgeber war außerdem sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
− Allerdings gibt es zwei Punkte, die mich gestört haben: Die Handtücher werden nicht täglich gewechselt. Meiner Meinung nach ist das für die Hygiene sehr wichtig. Ich habe so etwas bisher in keinem Hotel oder B&B erlebt. Auf Nachfrage wurde mir gesagt, dass dies in der Hausordnung stehe. Ich habe diese jedoch gelesen und konnte keinen Hinweis darauf finden. Außerdem findet direkt vor der Unterkunft täglich ein Markt statt (ca. von 5:00 bis 15:00 Uhr). Dadurch ist es morgens sehr laut – durch das Aufbauen der Stände und das Geschrei – sodass man kaum ausschlafen kann und oft geweckt wird. Abgesehen von diesen beiden Punkten waren die Lage und die Freundlichkeit des Gastgebers sehr gut.
