Location, clean

− The showers are atrocious. If you are going to the beach repeatedly you will be in the shower atleast 20 minutes because the is absolutely no pressure in the shower head.

Maintenance guy delivering toilet paper to rooms the first morning I was there. It's a sign.

Able to park in the back under the building. Not too many people to deal with. The staff really tried to help us with what we needed. The rooms with the sofa bed are good size. Brand name member however that was a bust. * Rating review is listed higher so people can see what they will get at this hotel. Rating any lower and people may skip over the bottom ones as I do sometimes.

− AI Reviews. Reviews with dates of 2023-2024 are too old. All the 10 ratings are false. My 2nd look at all of the lower ratings was experienced during this stay. Top Issues: AC smells bad; first room change was due to smell and sofa wet from humidity., 2nd room still smell bad and had outside are coming in around the edge of the AC unit in the wall. So don't stay in room 2002 or 3012. The bathroom fans are far too small for this area; so when you open the bathroom door all the condensation goes into the room., Internet doesn't work. Drops out every few minutes. Front desk takes forever to get you registered and in the system. The room key machine was down most of the 2nd day. They had to go and open my room door till they could get it fixed. Didn't get my keys till late that day., Forget the breakfast; they only have a very limited amount of food out. They will never have eggs and sausage out at the same time. It's the worst setup I have ever seen. I gave up and went 4 miles away to get breakfast., TV remote: Didn't have one in the room. Called the front desk and the maintenance guy brought one by. It didn't work the next morning. These remotes have no way to change the batteries. Next day asked for another remote that works. Waited 2 hours. Went down the 3rd time and the guy at the front desk said let's get one out of another room. Went to the 3rd floor, 1st room we tried didn't have a remote in it. 2nd room had a remote and it worked., I stayed at TownePlace Suites by Marriott for 3 days. Spent $800 plus on 1 room that didn't even have maids supply extra toilet paper in the room. I had to go down to the front desk and request toilet paper. The maintenance guy had to deliver it.

Nice quiet place that was just what I needed.

I was pleased with the room that looked out on the ocean as well as a 4.5 acres of undeveloped land. I could sit on the couch and enjoy the beach and wildlife on the land next to the hotel.

− I did not understand that there were two properties. I was trying to check in to the wrong property. Once they figured it out it was all good.

The cleanliness.

− One of the main reasons I picked this property was because it said it has a business center online and it does not! This was extremely frustrating since I had work to do that was time sensitive. Also, there was no one working the front desk for over two hours on Tuesday, June 2nd. I waited at the front desk for 30 minutes because someone put a sign there that they walked away and would be back shortly. The person never came. After my family ate breakfast, that was not as advertised, we went back to our room. I called the front desk thinking someone would answer the phone when they returned, no one answered. I went back downstairs walked around looking for a business center or someone to assist me with my work needs and the housekeepers said there was no one to help me I also wanted to ask about parking and I was told to go to the neighboring hotel, the Courtyard Marriott by another housekeeper if I have any questions which was absurd to me. We had to go to the Courtyard to ask about parking and I told them no one was at Townplace and she said she would call but there was no one there. When it was time to check out that is when someone was working the front desk and I inquired about the business center and was told there is not one and she was not sure why the website says there is a business center because all they have is a printer. She was gracious enough to help me with my work needs and I was extremely uncomfortable sharing worked related and personal information with her but I needed to get this done immediately. The entire ordeal was extremely upsetting..

Everything was great except for the sofa bed. It was extremely hard and there was no padding for it.

− Lots of mosquitoes in the underground parking garage.
