10.0Gorgeous cottage with lots of character, low ceilings in areas but you soon learnt to dodge. All part of the character. Stair banister rail stunning character made from drift wood. All rooms on suite so no fighting over bathrooms and a jacuzzi bath downstairs. The owners were very welcoming and full book with instructions on arrival. As well as lots of ideas of places to visit. Fresh milk in the fridge on arrival and the added dry herbs etc in the kitchen added to the homely feel for the week. We would happily book this cottage again as in the middle no where away from noise, surrounded by meadows with footpaths and woodland. 15min drive away there is a beautiful lake to do water sports on, we took our paddle boards. Closest beaches are 30min drive away at Bude. This is a hidden gem.

10.0The property is absolute gem located in a tranquil setting away from the hustle of the busy city life, exactly what we were looking for. We were not let down in any aspect and found everything as seen in the pictures and described in the advertisement. It would have been a great stay but what made it truly exceptional was the warm hospitality of Jane, Duncan and their family (hosts at the property). We will definitely plan another trip soon.

10.0The property was pure chocolate box. The rooms were very spacious n homely. The Breakfast was so filling n amazing. I've been a chef all my life n the breakfast was the best I've ever tasted. Thank you Duncan you can certainly cook.

10.0We had a fantastic stay at Hay Meadow Farm. It is an amazing old farm in a remote area. The room was very comfortable and clean and had been furnished to a high spec. The breakfasts were amazing - we certainly didn't/ couldn't eat at lunchtime. There was not just quantity but quality as well. Highly recommended all round
