Adequate for a one night stay
5.0Breakfast was nice but would have preferred scones, which were listed on the menu, instead of pastries
− The bathroom sink and tub could use an upgrade. The tile in the tub needs to be re-grouted at a minimum. The inn's outside needs a good power washing and/or painting. Once inside, the main room is warm and inviting. I think if you are going to charge the prices you are asking for a weeknight, you really need to step things up a bit.

A quiet, intimate weekend stay with wonderful breakfasts and a memorable dinner
7.0We have eaten many times at Newman's Restaurant on special occasions. Our anniversary dinner again was special. We enjoyed the quiet setting in the woods and walking from our cottage to breakfast and dinner.
− The cottage itself was small, especially on a cool rainy day when we couldn't use the porch and seemed dated. It was comfortable for a weekend stay but seemed expensive for a weekend in December.
