3.0− The TV didn’t work rooms are very worn, one room smells like cigarettes another the AC didn’t work. We ended up with the room with broken TV no discount on room cost. No mention of breakfast. I did nit feel safe had people asking for cigarettes. I will never stay here again.
I wouldn’t stay in this area again, but the room in another area would have been good.
4.0The room was spacious and clean. The TV didn’t work but this was rectified quickly by staff. The staff were friendly.
− There were many persons around there. Some appeared to be living in a nearby park as they were checking garbages. Some were drunk as there is a bar in the hotel. Twice, I was asked for cigarettes and money. Other individuals were sitting outside as they appeared to be staying in rooms. I did not feel safe nor did I like having my vehicle parked there and I worried that it might be broken into. Nothing like that happened, but this is not an area I would stay in again. I believe the hotel would be better off if the bar/ hang out was closed.

4.0Area around hotel was being occupied by 3 groups of unfavourable intoxicated persons with foul language and unfriendly attitudes. The presence of the security person was very much appreciated. Definitely not an area I would stay near on my own or with girlfriends. I was accompanied by a good sized man so felt safe enough. Booked online 30 min prior to arrival but check in took 1/2 hr then I had to return to front desk to make payment.
