− The corridors on my floor were heavily scented with synthetic air freshener. These actually are harmful for health. They can release volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other chemicals that may irritate the respiratory system, and affect people who are sensitive to fragrances. It does not only affect people that are sensitive.
