9.0The trout fishing combined with our fish catch prepared and cooked for dinner was an awesome experience.
Beautiful, peaceful, amazing food.
10.0Beautiful farm setting, galloping horses, sweeping views, lakes full of fish, historical accommodation.
− Aside from fishing and dinning at the restaurant there is very little to do on the property. A walking path around the vast property or a designated area to feed the horses or even offering horse riding would be wonderful.
Rob and his staff are so welcoming, take care of all your needs , food was delicious
10.0Beautiful place , comfortable and cosy open fire and a beautiful sunset.
The perfect countryside cottage escape with picturesque views, amazing food & lovely staff.
9.0Beautiful farm setting with breathtaking views and animals grazing outside the cottage window. Cosy, rustic stone cottage that was quiet and relaxing - the perfect accommodation for my solo stay to unwind and rest. Loved the open fireplace and spa bath in my cottage. Lovely staff and delicious local food at the restaurant which was intimate, relaxed and yet felt like a fine dining experience. I can’t wait to come back with my partner for a romantic couple’s getaway! Also I want to shout out staff member Andreas for looking after me so well during my stay, she made me feel so comfortable and welcome which was especially appreciated being there on my own.
− Everything was almost perfect, my only feedback would be that I would’ve liked the fireplace already set as I struggled to get it going and keep it going the whole night as it’s an open fireplace so needed a bit of work to maintain. I’m no fire expert so struggled a bit with it on my own. The spa bath was amazing but the shower water pressure was minimal. These are very small details in the grand scheme of an amazing stay.

10.0The fire the views, the peace, the food is amazing
− Nothing
Well worth a stay, great venue, people and food.
9.0It was a super beautiful and cozy cabin with a wonderful fireplace. The restaurant was fantastic for both Breakfast and Dinner. And it was only a 20 odd minute drive from Daylesford for day trips! The owner and the staff often checked in on us and it was a wonderfully comforting experience.
