10.0I had an incredible stay at K’s House Hakuba. The place is super clean and thoughtfully organized—clearly run by people who care about detail. As a digital nomad, I especially appreciated the cozy and peaceful common area, which made working remotely feel like home. What stood out most was the outstanding hospitality. The staff were kind, informative, and spoke excellent English. I arrived around midnight, and check-in was a breeze thanks to their 24-hour access system and thoughtful instructions with my key ready. While the hotel is around 15 minutes on foot from Kamishiro Station, the staff kindly gave me a ride in their shuttle. A special shoutout to Toshi, who generously lent me his crampons for my mountain hike — a total lifesaver! This is a superb and affordable base in rural Japan — perfect for backpackers, solo travelers, and anyone looking for a welcoming mountain stay. Highly recommended!
